In mainstream medicine we focus on contagion, viruses, bacteria, yeast etc. But this picture is incomplete.

From Anthroposophic point of view we need to look at our internal environment: what is the condition of our soul, etheric body and physical body.

The following factors /pollutants create a suitable environment within us for infections: alcohol, unbalanced diet, too much sugar/carbohydrates/ poor quality foods/ smoking/ excessive consumption of animal products/ persistent negative thinking and feeling, and of course the stagnation caused by the lack of exercise. And this is where our freedom lies in preventing infections.
